Product Description
Truffles are more abundant in the Italian countryside during the summer months, therefore making Italian summer truffles much more affordable than winter truffles. The flavor becomes milder, the aroma less intense, yet they are as sophisticated and luxurious as the winter variety, and more suitable for those who enjoy a more subtle truffle flavor. "First Choice" classification is the first grade available, indicating these Italian summer black truffles are smaller in size, but whole (entire mushrooms). Brushed (cleaned of soil) and preserved in brine -also known as truffle juice, this can be used for other preparations like broths and sauces, these truffles are Imported from Italy.

With his background as a specialty storeowner, chief marketing officer and food writer with broad travel experience, his knowledge and background in the specialty foods industry have enabled him to be a discriminating judge of outstanding food products. He now shares this knowledge with those interested in purchasing only the finest for use in their kitchen.
